Report of the 7th International Meeting of the Latin American Thyroid Society (LATS) May 21-24, 1997, Viņa del Mar, Chile Edited by Geraldo Medeiros-Neto, MD The meeting was attended by 296 scientists, working in the field of the thyroid gland and was very successfully organized by Professor Gustavo Pineda, Nelson Wohllk and their colleagues.
