Merck ThyroWare |
| Merck ThyroWare™ is an
interactive educational program designed for the
endocrine medical profession. The program is highly
dynamic, and well adapted for graduate and postgraduate
education, covering the topics of thyroid physiology and
pathophysiology. There are many additional educational
utilities for this program. It was developed in
cooperation with Prof. Gärtner Dr. Fischer and Dr.
Kittel, University of Munich. Drs. Braverman and Chin contributed to
the English version of the program. See also a program
review of ThyroWare in THYROID 8/98 or view a screenshot. One objective was to limit the program size to 1.44 MB so that it may be copied and distributed free of charge among students. Merck KGaA, as the owner of this software, invites everybody to download this animated program and to share it with others. Merck ThyroWare™ is
available in German and English (European and US
version). The programs (1,3 MB) can be downloaded to your computer. Copy it in a new directory (i.g. Thyware) and execute ("run") it. You may start the program afterwards by executing merck-tw.exe (Windows). Now start the download
